• Douglas Alden and Karl Rudnick will be interviewed about bicycle and pedestrian safety as part of Skycast at Skyline Elementary School.
  There has been a significant increase in the number of students biking and walking to school this fall.

  Bike the Coast participants will be rolling through Solana Beach on Saturday.  Please be careful if you are out on the road.

• Free Bike Traffic Skills Courses for Adults
  Next class: Friday, 7 November
  Just about everyone learns to ride a bike when they were young.  Balancing a two wheeler was just the start.  Whether you are an accomplished rider or just getting back on a bike give yourself to the extra confidence to travel by bike in our community by taking the Bike Traffic Skills Course for adults.
  Course will cover: 
  Proper bike & helmet fit, safety tips for riding in traffic, techniques for navigating road hazards, emergency maneuvers, using public transit as a cyclist, your legal rights & responsibilities 
  Also get hands-on instruction in: 
  Flat Tire Repair Secrets, adjustments, minor repairs, and quick fixes
