This is a 3-hour session, specially sheduled for Solana Beach. This session is a pre-requisite for the Smart Cycling Road Session II. During this class we cover:

1. Bicycling and the law
2. Crashes and how to avoid them
3. How to drive your bike safely in a variety of road, traffic, and weather conditions day or night
4. Specifics to bicycling in Solana Beach

Special for Solana Beach residents only! Courtesy of BikeWalkSolana's Community Grant, your $25 fee will be refunded upon completion of the following Road Session II on May 11th.

Youth notes: The Smart Cycling program is designed for adults. Youth aged 13-16 may attend if at least one parent also registers and also completes this session. Other youth are encouraged to take a 3 hr City Cycling class.
